Lashawn Dreher is the Founder of BlkWomenHustle®, Editor-in-Chief of EMOIR Magazine, and powerhouse Marketing Strategist amplifying Black Women’s voices and businesses. She has facilitated workshops for thousands of Black Women entrepreneurs, educating them on modern marketing trends and tactics, curating memorable content, monetizing digital channels, and effectively building social capital. Working with prominent clients, she has expanded audiences, curated nationwide events, tours, content, and campaigns, and organized partnerships with companies, including ESSENCE, The Sistahs in Business Expo, Eventbrite, and Lululemon.
She emerged as the Networking Maven™ when launching BlkWomenHustle®— the global, all-in-one networking platform positioning a collective 110k+ Black Women entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives to network with purpose, learn from industry-leading experts, and grow profitable businesses. Through intentional events, collaborative spaces, profit-building resources and opportunities, and an impactful podcast, BlkWomenHustle® has become the go-to platform positioning Black Women to become the most sought-after and highest paid.
Lashawn expanded her territory as a journalist, hosting and interviewing some of the world’s most innovative and influential black women entrepreneurs on The BlkWomenHustle® Podcast. In April 2022, she launched EMOIR Magazine, the newest digital media company and interactive publication celebrating the ventures and success of enterprising Black Women and addressing civic and cultural topics relative to their lifestyles.
Her notable accomplishments include recognition as a Gender Equality Innovator by Ticket Tailor, a content creator and host for ESSENCE, and Women's History Month honors by Rolling Out. Her energetic persona motivates Black Women to show up authentically to take action and authority over their lives.
